Ibis Charities Making an Impact: Trustbridge Hospice

Earlier this month, members of the Ibis Charities Board of Directors had the great pleasure of ceremonially handing over the keys of a new van to Trustbridge Hospice Executive Director Deborah Johnson and Cathy Rich, Director of Hospice Resale Shops. With three shops in Palm Beach County supporting their operations, Trustbridge struggled to pick up and deliver donations with their large box truck. Thanks to your generous support, Ibis Charities Foundation was able to provide an impact grant for the purchase of a new van that will make things easier – not only expanding where this van can drive and deliver, but also reducing the requirement of a special driving license and two people traveling per trip.

Trustbridge Hospice has been serving the community for over four decades providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. Trustbridge has become an integral part of the community, fulfilling its founders’ vision and mission to support those facing life-limiting illnesses through hospice and palliative care services. Trustbridge also accepts donations of gently used clothing, household items, and furniture for their Hospice Resale shops in Juno Beach, West Palm Beach, and Boca Raton. Donations can be made at each store or schedule a free pick up of large items today. You may see this van in Ibis in the future as we’ll be planning a donation pick-up event later this year. Learn more about donating on their website.
