College for Kids

College for Kids, Inc. is committed to providing mentorship resources and experiences that empower scholarship recipients from low-income families to successfully pursue higher education. As part of their program to expand these children’s horizons and help students visualize their future, they were provided with a transformative experience to visit college campuses across Florida this fall. In just 24 hours, over 120 students embarked on a journey to visit nine colleges and universities in three regions, including North Florida, Jacksonville, and Central and South Florida. Students were able to tour the campuses, interact with admissions staff and campus representatives and gain insight into academic programs and campus life. The Ibis Charities Foundation grant supports this organization’s efforts to help students begin to make informed choices about their future, by providing mentorship resources and experiences that empower scholarship recipients to pursue a higher education with confidence.
Sweet Dream Makers

In 2025, Sweet Dream Makers has delivered over 4,800 beds (including nearly 2,500 in Palm Beach County) and it is on track to provide more than 7,000 beds this year to children in southeast Florida currently sleeping on floors, couches, sharing small mattresses, or sleeping in unsafe, unsanitary, or inappropriate conditions. By increasing their access to healthy sleep, the majority of children improve their behavior and their grades in school almost immediately. The grant provided by the Ibis Charities Foundation this spring funded 120 beds, or the equivalent of six full classrooms of children walking into school this fall ready to learn!
